"The park is a great all rounder. Most of the caravans have a sea view and we were only about 50 yards from the beach and the coastal walk was almost on our door step. The staff were very helpful the condition of the caravan was A1 and the hotel was about 200 yards away - the food was excellent and the entertainment was good. The cafe and shop was also good with great staff. The walks into the village took about 15 minutes where there is plenty of pubs a shop and the Railway Station in the village is very picturesque. The sea was lovely clean clear and very warm - a wonderful holiday for all ages!"
Mrs G, 09 July 2009

"A brilliant holiday - the locality of the park was excellent as it was easy to access all the places we wanted to visit but the contrast of being next to the sea was wonderful. We liked it so much the first time we went that we booked for another week a couple of months later. I would recommend it to all as a relaxing break with plenty to see and do - the week flew by!"
Mrs M, 26 October 2007

"We have never holidayed in a caravan before but we chose St Bees as we grew up nearby and were visiting family. We were very very surprised how much we enjoyed the break. The caravan was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the park was also clean quiet and very well maintained. We were made very welcome on arrival the reception staff went out of their way to explain about the heating etc. The location is wonderful and the view from our caravan was brilliant. I was particularly impressed by how clean and safe the beach was - our granddaughter loved the rock pools and making sandcastles. It was also nice to see the cows and sheep grazing so close to the park. Whitehaven Cleator Moor and Egremont are all close enough to grab a takeaway or indulge in a little shopping The Beacon is also well worth a visit. The Lakes afford some wonderful walks all within a short drive and The Duddon Valley is magnificent at any time of year. It is also worth walking along the beach towards Braystones and Nethertown - we will be back! "
Mrs C, 07 July 2009
