Enjoying a delightful location on the edge of the Lake District National Park Tarnside Park surrounds a freshwater tarn with clubhouse and bar children's play area sea and freshwater fishing (NRA licence required) and launderette*. Located in the small village of Braystones and adjacent to the beach this is the ideal place for an away from it all holiday.

| "The park is exactly as described and the location is excellent if you're looking for a nice quiet break. Walks along the beach are thoroughly recommended the beach was very stoney but plenty of flat sand for the dog lovers when the tide was out from about 10am till about 3pm." |

| "On arrival the staff were helpful and the site looked impressive and well kept. The vans were set out in a manner to make the most of the sea views and the views over the fishing lake. The access to the pebble/sandy beach was easily accessed from a small downhill cutting that led across the railway line by a level crossing.(although probably not suited for wheel chairs etc) We were extremely pleased with our accommodation which included patio doors onto a veranda with sea views." |
