Excellent shopping, cafés, restaurants and provençal market in delightful town of Uzès 15 km. The famous Roman Pont du Gard just 30 min drive and Roman town of Nîmes with arena 45 min drive. Drive through the Camargue with its varied bird-life to reach sandy Mediterranean beaches and excellent seafood restaurants at Le Grau-du-Roi or old walled town of Aigues Mortes, both approx 90 min drive. Wonderful for walking in the aromatic heathland all around the house and breathing in the scent of wild thyme, lavender and mint! International airport: Nîmes 52 km. TGV service London/Avignon 45 km.

Beautifully renovated old bergerie, in lovely setting amongst vineyards and orchards. Delightful south-facing views from house, terraces and superb pool 10 x 4 x 1.2-2m depth with security immersion alarm, surrounded by hedge and stone walls. (Heated at extra cost of €75 per week, payable locally. ) Garden with olive trees and lavender bushes has sunny and shaded terraces for al-fresco dining. Enclosed gravel terrace shaded by large oak tree. Gas BBQ. Unfenced driveway open to heathland. House is attached to discreet English owners property. Garden and pool are private and not overlooked. Pool cleaned every morning before 8am.

House is decorated and furnished in Provençal colours with original artwork and great attention to detail. Tiled floors throughout. Living/dining room with sofa, armchairs, large dining table and chairs, flatscreen satellite TV/DVD, CD player/radio, french windows to large partly-covered terrace. Internet access on request. Basic laptop available 10€ per week payable locally. Fully-equipped kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. Tiled stairs (no guard-rail, but metal handrail) to first floor with beamed ceilings. Bed 1: double, ensuite shower/WC. Bed 2: 2 singles. Bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. Sep WC. Linen (changed weekly) towels and pool towels included in rental.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS AN EXCELLENT ALL ROUND PROPERTY.
