Date: 2012.01.06 | Category: Brittany, France, Holiday Parks, holidays, Latest News, Northern France, Places to go | Response: 0

Brittany is the most charmingly unspoilt corner of France. This is perhaps why it’s one of the most popular destinations for family holidays. It is a land of long, sandy, beaches, rock pools, hidden coves and all the other things that children love so much. At the same time it offers a wealth of pretty villages, historic towns and rolling countryside, making it perfect for just about anyone.

Staying in Brittany couldn’t be easier with plenty of holiday parks to choose from to cater for all tastes from small, quiet sites through to full on family entertainment.

La Baie, La Trinite sur MerFor those seeking a quite place to stay with a young family, have a look at La Baie, La Trinite sur Mer with a children’s pool and 2 safe sandy beaches just a short stroll away, it has to be worth a look.

Families with children who are active and just want to have fun why not try La Grand Metairie, Carnac. The park has a fantastic pool complex with a lazy river, water slides and indoor pool as well as organised children’s activities.La Grande Metairie, Carnac

  • New safari tents at Ty Nadan in Brittany

Date: 2011.06.06 | Category: Brittany, France, Holiday Parks, Latest News, South Brittany | Response: 0

Find Family Holidays got an unexpected sneak preview of the new safari tents being put up at Ty Nadan holiday park in South Brittany.

On the park for a short break, we noticed that wood flooring was being laid out and furniture was appearing so, being just a little nosey, we waited for them to finish before sneaking in to take a closer look.

First impressions are very good. These heavily canvassed tents are huge, giving good day living space as well as adequate sleeping accommodation. But what you will notice first is that there is real solid wood furniture, comfy seating and good lighting. It is certainly camping on the luxurious side of things, with a lot of effort and money spent to create the safari feel.

It has to be said though that our favourite bit of luxury was the two large hammocks outside for making the most of the long sunny afternoons.

We saw 2 of the safari tents go up in with a matter of days so there may be more soon.  See camping holidays in Brittany and camping holidays in France
